Awesome results this morning with our U10s, U12s and U14s. Congratulations to our under 12s for becoming the reigning champions.

Awesome results at our junior tournament this morning as our under 10s, under 12s and under 14s competed against local clubs. With Martin manning the BBQ and the sun shining we were in for a good day.
A 10am PB at Bablake School saw our under 10s off to a strong start with a 1-1 draw against Edgbaston. Coach Ben then led them to our second victory over Old Silz this weekend. Our last game was well fought, but Sutton Coldfield were a strong team and we ended with a loss. Congratulations to our under 10s , especially those who joined us for the first time from our Hockey Heros Sunday squad.
Up next were our under 12s, coached by Lucy. They also drew their first match with a 1-1 draw against Edgbaston. Up next were Sutton Coldfield, where we secured a 1-0 win. When asked Lucy said, 'Team work makes the dream work.' We then went on to win 2-1 against Old Silz and 1-0 against Yardley. Much to the delight of our fan crowd. This meant that they were the winners of the under 12s division.
A quick photoshoot later we were on to our under 14s. With only six players, one in goal and five outfield, they did really well against Edgbaston's seven outfield players, but it wasn't to be as they scored against us in the last couple of minutes. We kept our heads up and moved onto Old Silz. Sadly Silz had the upper hand this time and we lost 2-0. The last game of the day saw us against Sutton Coldfield, and with a last minute arrival we were up to seven players. We ended on a draw, even if we had to dispute a goal against us, which definitely wasn't a goal!
We'd like to say a huge thank you to those who turned up today to help and support us.
Shout out to our player of the day Rishi who played for all three teams and played some amazing hockey today.
