We're really excited as we look ahead to 2026, and there are lots of ways we want you to get involved and help us make it a successful one!

Fixture availability and updates

All adult fixture times are now uploaded for the second half of the season. The junior matches will be completed as soon as we have all the times.

WE NEED ALL MEMBERS TO BE USING THE AVAILABILITY FUNCTION - AND THEN CONFIRMING THEIR SELECTIONS

Chasing players up individually can cause huge headaches and un-needed stress to those volunteers dedicating their time to get teams out each week. There is a handy guide on how to do this available - and if you are ever not sure, please just let your captain or coach know.

Free umpiring courses

As part of our increases fee to England Hockey - members are now able to access free umpiring courses. We'd like every member to take up this offer, to maximise the impact for us. They can be found here and there are generally two or three courses offered per week.

You don't need to tell us you are doing the course, sign up whether you just want to brush up on the rules, or if you think you might want to give it more of a go in the long run. We are not afforded the luxury of having lots of volunteer umpires, and we need to get more people into it where we can.

Save the date

We are pleased to share that this year's end of season celebration event will take place on 25th April! On this date we will celebrate ALL of our junior and adult players - so put it in the diary! Timings and more details will be shared later this month.

Planning for next year

As this season draws to a close in the next 3 months - the committee will be planning for the 2026/27 season and we will also hold an AGM around Easter time. If you're considering a role on the committee - please complete the form below.

In the coming weeks, you'll see various adverts for players and coaches, as well as other exciting updates as we look to invest in our future. Sharing these updates with your networks will help us grow and build into next year.
